Charleston Southern 21, Presbyterian 13

CLINTON, S.C. (AP) -- Collin Drafts was 14-of-22 for 156 yards
and Maurice Price caught nine passes for 93 yards as Charleston
Southern broke an 11-game losing streak to Presbyterian with a
21-13 win Saturday.

The victory marks only the second time the Division I-AA
Buccaneers (1-0) have beaten the Division II Blue Hose (1-1).

A 59-yard interception return for a touchdown by Josh Mitchell
with 2:08 left sealed the win for Charleston Southern and were the
only points of the second half.

Presbyterian gained 380 yards and had 20 first downs, compared
to 210 yards and 12 first downs for the Buccaneers. But the Blue
Hose had four turnovers, compared to one for Charleston Southern.

Mitch Doolittle went 16-of-32 for 186 yards and ran for a
touchdown for Presbyterian. But he also threw three interceptions.
Backup Grayson Mullins completed all three of his passes for 22
yards and Justin Durant caught five passes for 96 yards for the
Blue Hose.

Presbyterian moves up to Division I-AA next year and will play
in the Big South Conference with the Buccaneers.
