INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Erik Cwalinski passed for 240 yards and four
touchdowns and Robert Morris shut out Butler in the second half for
a 35-14 victory Saturday.
Three of the touchdown passes by Cwalinski came in the second
half as the Eagles (1-2) broke a 14-14 halftime tie. Cwalinski's
4-yard scoring pass to Moises Hernandez late in the third quarter
put Robert Morris ahead, and he added two more scores in the final
period on passes of 38 yards to Mario Hines and 18 yards to Alvin
Cwalinski, who was 18-of-26 with one sack, also had a a 3-yard
TD pass to Scott Schade in the first quarter, and Hines scored on a
14-yard run that put the Eagles up 14-7 early in the second period.
Butler (1-2) scored both of its touchdowns on turnovers.
The first was on Collin McGann's 66-yard return of a Robert
Morris fumble early in the first quarter, and the second came late
in the second period when Derek North recovered a blocked punt in
the end zone.
Robert Morris shut down Butler the rest of the way, and the
Bulldogs finished with just 50 yards total offense, including
minus-18 on the ground.
T.J. Brown, who had a career-high 235 yards and two TD passes
against Hanover as the Bulldogs snapped an 18-game losing streak a
