TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- Le'Ron McClain grabbed a 2-yard touchdown pass from John Parker Wilson in overtime to lift Alabama to a 26-23 win over Mississippi on Saturday, the Crimson Tide's second consecutive last-play victory against Ole Miss.

The Rebels (2-5, 1-3) Southeastern Conference) got the ball first in OT but had to settle for a 37-yard field goal by Joshua Shene after Alabama's Keith Saunders dropped Mico McSwain for a loss on third-and-2 at the 17.

Alabama (5-2, 2-2) had first-and-goal at the 3 after a 1-yard sneak by Wilson, but Ole Miss twice stopped fullback Tim Castille short of the end zone. On third-and-goal from the 2, McClain, the fullback, slipped past a defender and into the open in the middle of the end zone, where Wilson softly tossed him the ball for the score.

The play set off a wild celebration, with the Crimson Tide sprinting off the sideline to swarm McClain and Wilson in the end zone.

Jaime Christensen, who beat Ole Miss 13-10 with a 31-yard field goal as time expired last year, kicked two 26-yarders this year, and Wilson also threw a 39-yard scoring pass to D.J. Hall, who had five catches for 119 yards. Wilson completed 16 of 28 passes for 206 yards without an interception.

Kenneth Darby ran for a season-high 162 yards on 25 carries for the Tide, and Tim Castille capped an 80-yard drive, nine-play drive with a 2-yard touchdown run.

With his team trailing by a touchdown in the fourth quarter, Mississippi's Brent Schaeffer threw a 55-yard touchdown pass to Mike Wallace to tie it at 20 with 8:21 remaining. The Rebels' defense then held Alabama twice to force overtime.

Shene also had field goals of 36 and 23 yards for the Rebels.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis ran for 56 yards on 21 carries with a TD for Ole Miss and Schaeffer was 13-of-20 passing for 163 yards and no interceptions.
