Wofford 35, Elon 21

ELON, N.C. (AP) -- Josh Collier rushed for 128 yards and two
touchdowns to give Wofford a 35-21 victory over Elon on Saturday.

Collier had a 1-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter
to put the Terriers (3-4, 2-2 Southern Conference) up 7-3. His
second score, a 2-yard run midway through the third quarter,
extended the lead to 35-10.

Wes Pope was 30-for-48 passing for 384 yards and a touchdown for
the Phoenix (3-4, 2-2) but threw three interceptions. Elon managed
only 31 yards on the ground against the Terriers defense, while
giving up 351 rushing yards.

Dane Romero was the second-leading rusher for Wofford, running
five times for 80 yards.

Terrell Hudgins led the Phoenix receivers, pulling in 13 passes
for 186 yards and a touchdown.
