OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- Brady Green ran for two touchdowns and Reggie Bradshaw ran for another and Montana held for a 33-30 win at Weber State Saturday.

The Grizzlies (6-1, 5-0 Big Sky), ranked second in NCAA Division I-AA, trailed 17-13 at halftime, but scored 20 straight points to remain undefeated in league play.

Green and Bradshaw each scored on 1-yard runs in the third quarter and Green scored on a 14-yard run with 8:51 remaining to give Montana a 33-17 lead after the PAT was blocked.

Bryant Eteuati returned the ensuing kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown, but the two-point conversion pass failed and the Wildcats were within 33-23 with 8:34 remaining.

"We had a blowout working and then we gave up the kickoff return for the touchdown," said UM coach Bobby Hauck.

Weber State (2-5, 1-3) got within 33-30 on a 4-yard pass from Ian Pizarro to Terry Larson with 1:07 remaining.

The Wildcats attempted an onside kick, but were called for being offsides, and Montana held on for its sixth consecutive win.

"We played better, in particular on defense, in the second half," Hauck said. "We changed a little bit schematically in the second half, but it was really just about us playing better."

Pizarro, who returned to his starting role, completed 24 of 34 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns. His 32-yard pass to Marcus Mailei gave Weber State a 7-3 lead with 9:41 left in the first quarter.

Montana quarterback Josh Swogger completed 21-of-39 passes for 356 yards, including a 3-yard TD pass to Kevin Klaboe with 6:03 left in the first quarter. Weber State had been allowing opponents a league-best 128 yards passing per game.

Dan Carpenter had two first-half field goals, with a long of 50 yards. Derek Johnson blocked a 28-yard attempt by Carpenter with 3:15 left in the half.

Trevyn Smith rushed for 73 yards, including a 1-yard TD run with 24 seconds left in the first quarter to give Weber State a 14-10 lead. A 33-yard field goal by Conor Foley with 1:12 left in the half extended the Wildcats' lead to 17-10.

Torrey Thomas intercepted Pizarro twice, returning the first pick to the Weber State 1 early in the third quarter. Green scored on a 1-yard run two plays later, giving Montana a 20-17 lead.

Thomas returned his second interception 27 yards to the WSU 28, but a personal foul on the Wildcats gave UM the ball at the 14. Green scored on a 14-yard run with 8:51 to play, capping Montana's 20-0 run.

The Grizzlies lined up for two fake field goals in the third quarter, with Clint Stapp running for 21 yards and the first down on the first one. Four plays later, Carpenter covered 6 yards before fumbling out of bounds on the second attempt.

"We really should have scored," said Hauck, who is Montana's special teams coach. "I think Dan took his eye off the pitch and dropped it. If Dan hangs onto it I think he gets it in the end zone. It's a shame he didn't."

Montana settled for a 20-yard field goal by Carpenter on its final drive of the half, despite a 63-yard reception by Ryan Bagley that gave the Grizzlies the ball at the Weber State 1.

"The Weber State staff had 'em ready to go," Hauck said. "Again, with the week off, I think they had a great plan against us. My impression ... is that they played their best game of the year and did a nice job hanging in there 'til the end."

Eric Allen caught seven passes for 132 yards for Montana while Bagley had five catches for 98 yards.

Montana has won eight straight games against Weber State and has clinched its 21st consecutive winning season.
