PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Dan LeFevour threw four touchdown passes and ran for a fifth as Central Michigan beat Temple 42-26 on Saturday.
Ontario Sneed accounted for 233 yards of total offense and four touchdowns for the Chippewas (6-3), who won their fourth straight to become eligible for a bowl game.
LeFevour was 18-of-22 for 268 yards. Sneed caught five passes for 93 yards, with touchdown receptions of 11, 30 and 30 yards, as the Chippewas jumped out to a 28-0 lead.
Sneed rushed 10 times for a season-high 140 yards, including a 65-yard touchdown run for a 42-13 lead late in the third quarter. It was the sixth career 100-yard rushing performance for Sneed.
The Chippewas dominated both lines of scrimmage until late in the game and rolled up 499 yards of total offense.
Adam DiMichele completed 24-of-35 passes for 228 yards and tied a career-high with three touchdowns for Temple (1-9). DiMichele tossed touchdown passes of 10 and 4 yards to Bruce Francis and a 2-yarder to Marcus Brown.
DiMichele also caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from running back Tim Brown, cutting the lead to 42-19 with 14:44 remaining.
Brown led Temple with 101 yards on 23 carries. Travis Shelton had eight receptions for 76 yards and Francis added seven catches for 66 yards.
But it wasn't nearly enough to rally the Owls, who stunned Bowling Green 28-14 last Saturday, ending their 20-game losing streak.
