BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. (AP) -- Quarterback Josh Collier ran for 117 yards and three touchdowns as Wofford defeated Gardner-Webb 34-17 on Saturday.

Collier had 21 carries in the game and helped Wofford catch up to Gardner-Webb's early lead with a 5-yard TD run at 8:17 in the second quarter. Nick Robinson's extra point kick made the score 10-10.

The Terriers didn't trail the rest of the game, scoring 27 points off of Bulldog turnovers. Wofford (7-4) ran for 318 total yards and took advantage of three interceptions, one of which was returned by Kevin Adleman for a touchdown about 30 seconds before halftime.

Wofford increased its lead to 27-10 on a 5-yard TD run by Collier and a 32-yard field goal by Nick Robinson in the third quarter.

Devin Campbell completed a 37-yard TD pass to Duvaughn Flagler in the fourth quarter to help Gardner-Webb reach within 10, but Collier's 2-yard TD run with just over 2 minutes left sealed it for Wofford.

Campbell had one other TD pass to Andre Manning and Hunter Smith kicked a 47-yard field goal for the Bulldogs (6-5). Both scores came in the first quarter, giving Gardner-Webb the early lead.

Campbell passed for 175 yards, including the 57-yard TD pass to Manning.
