NEW YORK (AP) -- Jordan Davis set career highs by rushing for 177 yards and three touchdowns in Columbia's 31-7 victory over Marist on Saturday in the schools' first meeting.
Bo Ehikioya rushed for 212 yards on a school-record 38 carries for Marist (0-4).
Davis ran for a 25-yard touchdown in the second quarter to give Columbia (1-1) a 7-0 lead. Jon Rocholl's 24-yard field goal with 56 seconds left in the half made it 10-0.
Columbia went up 17-0 early in the third quarter on Davis' 7-yard run. On the ensuing possession, Ehikioya capped a 76-yard, 12-play drive with an 8-yard run to make it 17-7.
Davis scored on a 28-yard run 1:52 into the fourth quarter to give the Lions a 24-7 lead.
Sophomore Ray Rangel scored his first touchdown for Columbia on a 2-yard run with 4:10 remaining.
Columbia's defense sacked Marist quarterbacks five times for 37 yards and allowed only 30 yards passing on four completions.
