HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) -- Kelcy Luke passed for 206 yards and four touchdowns to lead Alabama A&M to an easy 48-24 victory over Texas Southern.

Alabama A&M (4-1, 2-1 Southwestern Athletic Conference) jumped out to a 21-10 first quarter lead and never trailed against the winless Tigers (0-5, 0-4).

The Bulldogs got off to a fast start as Ulysses Banks scored on a 9-yard run at 12:19 in the first quarter after an 8-play, 77-yard drive. Banks rushed 17 times for 112 yards.

Thomas Harris caught 6 passes for 82 yards for the Bulldogs, including touchdown catches of 20 and 27 yards. Luke also threw a 4-yard scoring pass to John Smith and a 12-yard touchdown pass to Gerald Stockdale.

The Tigers were led by Tino Edgecombe, who completed 29-of-59 passes for 352 yards and 3 touchdowns, but Edgecombe was intercepted 3 times.

Brian Haith caught 9 passes for 133 yards and one score for Texas Southern.

Jeremy Licea kicked 37 and 42-yard field goals for Alabama A&M and Djavan Conway had a 30-yard field goal for the Tigers.
