HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) -- Jordan Scott rushed for 270 yards to lead Colgate to a 28-24 victory over Bucknell in the Patriot League Saturday.
Scott, who scored the wining touchdown on a 4-yard run with 31 seconds remaining, had the second-highest single-game rushing total in Colgate history.
Colgate (3-2, 1-1) opened the scoring on a 62-yard passing play from Alex Relph to Pat Simonds before Bucknell (2-4, 0-1) tied it with a 5-yard run by sophomore A.J Kizekai. Relph finished 17-of-26 for 247 yards with one interception. He was sacked three times.
Colgate scored twice more in the first quarter with touchdown runs by Scott, while Kizekai tallied on a 92-yard kickoff return.
In the second quarter, Kizekai caught a 19-yard touchdown pass from sophomore Marcello Twigg to tie it at 21-21. Bucknell took a 24-21 lead in the third quarter with a 35-yard field goal from junior Will Carney.
Colgate marched 80 yards on 12 plays for the winning score.
