NEW YORK (AP) -- John Skelton connected on 26 of 43 passes for a career-high 288 yards and three touchdowns as Fordham beat Lehigh 28-18 on Saturday.
Sedale Threatt was 19 for 43 for 304 yards and two touchdowns for the Mountain Hawks (3-2, 0-1). He was picked off twice.
Lehigh took a 3-0 on Jason Leo's 45-yard field goal at 8:40 of the opening quarter.
Skelton's 9-yard TD pass to Richard Rayborn at 9:39 of the second quarter put the Rams (4-2, 2-0 Patriot League) up 7-3. Skelton also combined with Sylvester Clark on a 41-yard pass to make it 14-3 at 6:45.
At 12:51 of the third quarter Threatt connected on a 6-yard pass to Alex Wojdowski to cut the deficit to 14-10.
Cody Kritzer caught a 7-yard pass from Skelton at 7:05 of the fourth to increase the Rams' lead to 21-10. Lehigh moved to within 21-18 on Threatt's 7-yard strike to Sekon Yansane 4:13.
Earl Hudnell then clinched the win by racing 40 yards to the end zone with an interception with 1:55 remaining.
