LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) -- S.J. Worrell had two touchdowns as Presbyterian beat future Big South rivals VMI 45-21 on Saturday and extending its winning streak to three.

VMI (2-4) scored in the opening minutes of the first quarter, but Worrell helped tie the game with a 1-yard run late in the first.

The Blue Hose (4-3) would go on to lead 14-7 at halftime following a 53-yard run by Chetyuane Reeder in the second quarter.

The Keydets would pull to within six at 20-14 on Tim Maypray's second TD catch of the game on a 32-yard pass from Kyle Hughes midway through the third. A 50-yard pass from Kyle Harris to Anthony McKnight and a 32-yard run by Worrell, who rushed for a total 93 yards, padded Presbyterian's lead.

Harris was 1 of 1 for 50 yards and Tim Webb was 18 of 26 for 223 yards for the Blue Hose.

Hughes was 6 of 11 for 128 yards and Nat Jackson was 1 of 1 for 14 yards and one touchdown for VMI.

Presbyterian is moving into the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision and is not officially eligible to be included in the Big South standings in 2007. The team will play four of the five current Big South teams this season.
