LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) -- Eric Bjonerud kicked a 38-yard field goal in the final seconds as Georgetown snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 20-17 victory over Bucknell on Saturday.
Bjonerud, who booted a 25-yard field goal in the second quarter, converted the game-winner with 10 seconds remaining for Georgetown (1-7, 1-3 Patriot League).
Alex Carroll scored on a 6-yard run in the first quarter to stake Georgetown to an early lead. Quarterback Matt Bassuener, who rushed 14 times for 64 yards, scored on a 1-yard run early in the fourth and finished 35-for-46 for 240 yards.
Shaun Pasternbak caught TD passes of 16 and 8 yards from Marcello Trigg, who was 16-for-25 with 207 yards. Pasternbak had six catches for 83 yards in the loss.
Will Carney completed the scoring for Bucknell (2-5, 0-2) with a 22-yard field goal in the second quarter.
Auburn senior receiver D'haquille Williams has been dismissed from the team.
