JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) -- Omar Haugabook scored a pair of touchdowns to lead Troy to a 27-0 victory over Arkansas State on Saturday.

The victory for the Trojans (6-2, 5-0 Sun Belt Conference) ended a three-game losing streak against Arkansas State (3-5, 1-3) and handed the Indians only their second home loss in their last 14 games.

Haugabook rushed for 94 yards and passed for 156. He left the game early in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury.

Leodis McKelvin led a defensive effort with two interceptions, including one in the end zone in the first quarter. The Trojans, who intercepted three passes, sacked Arkansas State quarterbacks five times and scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter when Sherrod Martin's hit on Travis Hewitt forced a fumble that Borris Lee returned 1 yard for a touchdown.

The Indians also missed a pair of field goals.

The Trojans took the lead in a slow-starting first quarter on Haugabook's 1-yard run at the 5:37 mark. They led 10-0 at halftime after Greg Whibbs hit a 40-yard field goal.

Haugabook scored from a yard out with 10:49 left in the third quarter and Whibbs kicked it 17-0. Whibbs' second field goal, this one from 45 yards, made it 20-0 with 10:22 left. Whibbs also averaged 45.2 yard punting. Lee scored his touchdown with 7:15 left.

Troy finished with 368 yards offense; Arkansas State had 237 yards.
