OXFORD, Ohio (AP) -- Daniel Raudabaugh passed for two touchdowns and Cory Jones rushed for 125 yards as Miami (Ohio) held off Buffalo 31-28 on Saturday.

Raudabaugh completed 20 of 26 passes and had TD strikes of 17 yards to Jones in the first quarter and 6 yards to Eugene Harris in the third. Running back Tommy Merriweather also rushed for two touchdowns for the RedHawks (5-5, 4-1 Mid-American).

The Bulls (4-6, 4-2) opened the scoring when James Starks scampered 92 yards for a touchdown with 10:01 left in the first quarter. But Miami responded with a 34-yard field goal by Nathan Parseghian, Raudabaugh's TD pass to Jones and a 9-yard scoring run by Merriweather.

Buffalo scored in the second quarter on a touchdown pass by Drew Willy and a 33-yard field goal by A.J. Principe to tie the game at 17 at the half.

Merriweather ran 1 yard for a touchdown and Raudabaugh completed a 6-yard TD pass in the third quarter to put Miami ahead for good.

Starks finished with 154 yards on 19 carries and Drew completed 33 of 45 passes for 217 yards to lead the Bulls.
