NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Sidney Bryant threw for 382 yards and four touchdowns, including the final score with seven seconds left in the game, to lead Charleston Southern to a 28-24 win over Presbyterian on Saturday.
Dee Brown had five catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner from 18 yards out for the Buccaneers (5-5).
The Blue Hose (6-5) were led by S.J. Worrell, who finished with 113 yards on 17 carries. Grayson Mullins completed 20 of 42 passes for 191 yards and two touchdowns. But Mullins also had two interceptions.
Presbyterian jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter on a 17-yard pass from Mullins to Worrell and a 78-yard fumble returned for a touchdown by Chetyuane Reeder.
The Bucs came back with a 5-yard pass from Bryant to Markus Murry to cut the lead to 14-7 with 13:50 left in the half. Mullins put the Blue Hose back up by 14 with a 6-yard pass to Larry Thomas.
Charleston Southern cut it to 14-7 at the half on a 4-yard pass from Bryant to Vernon Huger with 28 seconds left.
The Bucs tied it in the fourth on a 53-yard scoring pass from Bryant to Brown.
Cam Miller's 40-yard field goal with 1:20 left put the Blue hose back up 24-21. That's when the Bucs took over on their own 42 to move 58 yards in 1:07 for the game-winning score.
