JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- Bloi-Dei Dorzon ran for 111 yards and a touchdown to lead Jackson State to a 17-7 victory over Stillman on Saturday night.

Jackson State (1-1) gained 218 yards rushing and limited Stillman to only 127 total yards. Dorzon scored on a 13-yard touchdown run to put Jackson State ahead 7-0 with 5:07 left in the first quarter.

Stillman (1-1) tied the game at 7-7 the halftime after Kenny Brown caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Darrell Nevis with 11 seconds left in the second.

Carlos Simpson caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Trae Rutland in the fourth to give Jackson State a 14-7 lead.

Eric Perri added a 39-yard field goal to extend Jackson State's lead to 17-7 with 9:03 remaining in the game.

Jackson State finished with 275 yards on offense, and Anthony Johnson intercepted two passes from Nevis.
