LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) -- Tim Maypray and Zack Collins each scored two touchdowns to help Virginia Military Institute rout St. Francis (Pa.) 49-0 on Saturday.

Maypray ran for 116 yards on 10 carries and had the game's first touchdown on a 52-yard run for the Keydets (1-0) in the first quarter. Collins, who had two rushing attempts, scored from 62 and 50 yards away on the ground to give VMI a 21-0 lead in the second quarter.

Damiso Alexander returned a fumble 46 yards for a touchdown to put the Keydets ahead 28-0 in the second.

VMI, which attempted seven passes, rushed 50 times for 418 yards. Kyle Hughes, who threw for 19 yards, had an 8-yard touchdown pass to Travis Ludden in the fourth.

George Little, who completed 23-of-45 passes, threw for 256 yards and one interception for the Red Flash (0-1).
