MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Ontario Sneed ran for his second touchdown of the game with 2:58 left and Central Michigan held off Buffalo 27-25 on Saturday.

The Bulls (2-3, 1-1 Mid-American) answered 1:21 later on Drew Willy's 65-yard scoring pass to James Starks. Buffalo recovered the ensuing onside kick and converted a fourth-and-4 attempt at the Chippewas' 40-yard line to set up a 46-yard field goal attempt by A.J. Principe, but the ball hit off the right upright as time expired.

Sneed finished with 77 yards rushing on 16 carries for Central (3-2, 2-0). Quarterback Dan LeFevour carried 16 times for 100 yards and a touchdown and completed 21-of-26 passes for 152 yards.

Willy completed 23-of-33 passes for 270 yards for Buffalo. Starks rushed for 94 yards on 22 carries and a touchdown, and had five receptions for 97 yards with the late TD.
