TOLEDO, Ohio -- Ontario Sneed capped a 68-yard drive with a one-yard touchdown run and Andrew Aguila kicked the extra point as Central Michigan edged Toledo 24-23 Saturday at Toledo.

Alex Steigerwald brought Toledo (2-6, 1-3 MAC West) within a point in the third quarter with a 35-yard field goal, followed by a Nick Moore touchdown following a 35-yard pass from quarterback Aaron Opelt that put Toledo ahead 23-17. Alex Steigerwald kicked the extra point.

Toledo jumped out to a 6-0 first quarter lead with two field goals by Steigerwald. But Central Michigan (6-2, 5-0 MAC) took the lead 7-6 on a 21 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Dan LeFevour to Bryan Anderson. Aguila kicked the extra point.

LeFevour was 24-of-31 for 242 yards and two touchdowns. Opelt was 16-of-20 for 216 yards and one touchdown
