ORLANDO, Fla. -- Brynn Harvey ran for a career-high 219 yards and Central Florida defeated Memphis 32-14 on Saturday.

The Knights (1-4, 1-2 Conference USA) trailed 14-9 late in the third quarter when Brett Hodges threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Ricky Kay on the final play of the period. Hodges, who finished 16-for-28 with 214 yards, then connected with Jamar Newsome on a 22-yard score to put UCF ahead 22-14 with 7:28 left.

The Tigers (1-4, 0-2) led 7-3 at halftime despite UCF controlling the ball for more than 19 minutes and gaining twice as many first downs. The Knights drove the ball across midfield five times in the half, but managed just a 24-yard field goal by Nick Cattoi in the second quarter.

Cattoi tied a UCF school record with four field goals, also connecting from 46, 42 and 26 yards.
