N. Dakota St. 31, S. Dakota State 24

FARGO, N.D. -- D.J. McNorton rushed for two touchdowns and 138 yards and North Dakota State beat South Dakota State 31-24 Saturday.

McNorton rushed 31 yards to score in the second quarter and 3 yards in the third to lead the Bison (7-3, 4-3, Missouri Valley) past the Jackrabbits (4-6, 4-4).

Coulter Boyer scored on an interception return in the first quarter, and Josh Gatlin scored on a 51-yard interception return in the fourth quarter.

Ryan Jastram kicked a field goal for the Bison.

Kyle Minett ran for two touchdowns for the Jackrabbits, and Peter Reifenrath kicked a field goal. Thomas O'Brien threw a 68-yard touchdown pass to Tyrel Kool and finished with 247 yards passing.
