SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Sean Patterson scored touchdowns receiving and rushing, and passed for two scores as Duquesne beat Bryant 37-29 on Saturday.
The Dukes (7-4, 5-3 Northeast Conference) ended the season with two straight wins and four in their final five games.
Patterson scored on a 56-yard run and threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Sean Bunevich as the Dukes built a 17-8 lead in the first quarter. Patterson also caught a 26-yard touchdown pass, and threw a 48-yard scoring pass to Dave Williams in the fourth quarter. Patterson completed 9 of 25 passes for 197 yards and Williams caught four passes for 112 yards.
The loss ended a three-game winning streak for Bryant.
