MOREHEAD, Ky. -- J.J. Jude rushed for four touchdowns and Eastern Kentucky cemented a 56-24 victory over Morehead State Saturday night.
Jude put up the first 21 points for the Colonels (2-2), and ran for another touchdown in the fourth quarter, ending the night with 33 carries for 195 yards.
Devin Borders caught a pair of touchdown passes in the third quarter to give Eastern Kentucky some breathing room after Morehead State closed to within four points.
Austin Gahafer led the Eagles (0-4, 0-1 Pioneer) with 220 yards passing in a bright spot for Morehead State, which was outgained 345 yards to 37 in rushing. Gahafer was replaced by Logan Johnson at the start of the fourth quarter, who threw a quick touchdown pass to make the score 35-24.
Eastern Kentucky rolled out 606 yards in total offense with Jared McClain passing for a game-high 250 yards.
