MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Isaiah Crowell ran for 136 yards and four touchdowns to carry Alabama State past Alcorn State 49-30 in a Southwestern Athletic Conference game Saturday night.
Crowell had three touchdowns and 99 yards as the Hornets (3-2, 2-2 SAC) opened a 28-7 lead at the half. Then Leland Baker had a sack, forced fumble and recovery on the first play of the third quarter with Crowell scoring on a 1-yard run on the next play. Alabama State forced four turnovers.
