PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Michael Jump threw a 25-yard touchdown pass -- his fifth scoring pass of the game -- to Greg Vaccaro in double overtime to give La Salle a 39-32 win over Iona on Saturday.

La Salle (2-3, 1-0 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) gave Iona a 1st-and-goal at the 9 with a holding penalty on the ensuing possession, but forced three straight incompletions to end the game.

Jump pulled the Explorers within 1 with 1:33 left in the fourth with a 35-yard touchdown pass to John Zabel -- the duo's second touchdown of the game. Nick Scrivens, who took over the kicking duties after La Salle failed on two earlier PAT attempts, knocked through the extra point to tie the game 32-32.

Iona (2-3, 0-1) rallied from a 19-point halftime deficit with a touchdown pass from Dustin Croick and touchdown runs by Croick and Maurice Thomas. Chris Lofrese gave Iona a 24-19 lead with a 28-yard field goal late in the third quarter.

La Salle's Josh Brumfield and Thomas traded touchdowns on the fourth quarter to set up Jump's game-tying scoring pass to Zabel.

Jump finished 20-for-34 for 325 yards and five touchdowns -- including a 92-yarder to Zabel in the second quarter on 3rd-and-20 -- as the Explorers jumped out to a 19-0 lead at halftime. Zabel finished with seven catches for 195 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Brumfield also caught a touchdown pass for La Salle.

Each team failed to score in the first overtime, with La Salle stopping Iona on four plays and having a 38-yard field goal attempt by Scrivens blocked.
