SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) -- Bradley George threw for 236 yards and
three touchdowns to lead Texas State to a 38-17 win over
Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday night.
Jeremy Castillo finished with 15 tackles, two sacks and two
forced fumbles for Texas State (3-4, 2-1 Southland).
Bradd Schlosser completed 25-of-32 passes for 250 yards and a
touchdown for Southeastern Louisiana (2-6, 1-2). Wide receiver
Jamarr Garrett had six catches for 110 yards, including a 64-yard
touchdown in the fourth quarter.
After a scoreless first quarter, Texas State scored two
touchdowns to go into the half with a 14-3 lead. Daniel Jolly, who
rushed for 100 yards on 12 carries, scored a third-quarter
touchdown to put Texas State up 21-3.
The teams combined for 31 points in the fourth.
