HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- Ricky Santos threw four touchdown passes and ran for another score to help No. 11 New Hampshire rout No. 12 Hofstra 40-3 on Saturday night.
Santos was 19-of-23 passes for 262 yards for the Wildcats (5-2, 2-2 Colonial Athletic). J.T. Wright caught touchdowns passes of 37 and 1 yards, and Keith LeVan was the leading receiver with seven catches for 121 yards for a score.
LeVan's 47-yard TD reception in the fourth quarter was the longest of Santos' touchdown passes and completed the game's scoring.
Santos opened the scoring with a 1-yard run in the first quarter.
Hofstra followed with Rob Zarrillo's 19-yard field goal for its only points.
Wright's 31-yard touchdown catch from Santos early in the second quarter started the visitors on their string of 33 straight points.
