MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) -- Josh Johnson threw for 211 yards and two touchdowns as San Diego beat Morehead State 27-14 Saturday.
San Diego jumped out to a 17-0 lead and never looked back.
Hutch Parker's 35-yard field goal early in the game gave the Toreros (9-1, 6-1 Pioneer Football League) the lead. J.T. Rogan added a 1-yard run to put San Diego up 10-0 after one quarter.
Johnson connected with John Matthews and Rogan on TD passes in the second period as San Diego upped its lead to 24-7 at the break.
Brian Yost hit Erick Fitzpatrick for a 51-yard score to pull Morehead Stat (7-3, 5-2) to within 24-14.
Rogan finished with 154 rushing yards.
Yost threw two TDs and three interceptions.
