BOSTON -- Harvard quarterback Chris Pizzotti ran for two 1-yard touchdowns in the final 6:16 to lead the Crimson to a come-from-behind 25-24 victory over visiting Holy Cross on Friday.
Pizzotti was 30-of-44 for 370 yards and threw a touchdown pass for Harvard, which trailed 17-6 after three quarters. The Crimson's Matt Iannuzzi had 11 receptions for 174 yards, including a 68-yard touchdown catch at the beginning of the fourth quarter that made it 17-12.
Holy Cross (0-2) responded with a 26-yard drive that culminated in a 1-yard touchdown run by quarterback Dominic Randolph, putting Holy Cross up 24-12 with less than 10 minutes to play. But the Crimson scored twice more in the final frame, capped by Pizzotti's 1-yard plunge with 1:42 left.
Randolph threw for 239 yards on 27-of-52 passing, hitting Jon Brock for a 9-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter, and throwing one interception.
