Cent. Arkansas 51, Quincy 6

CONWAY, Ark. -- Nathan Brown threw for four touchdowns Saturday night as Central Arkansas blew past Quincy, 51-6.

Three of Brown's scoring passes were to Marquez Branson, who had TD catches of 79, 59 and 14 yards. Brown completed 15 of 19 for 310 yards. Branson had five catches on the night for 174 yards.

Quincy (0-3), an NAIA school, scored first on a 45-yard field goal by Alex Beard. But Central Arkansas (4-0), which plays in the Football Championship Division, took the lead with 8:11 to play in the first quarter when Brown hit Willie Landers on a 44-yard pass for the Bears' first touchdown.

The UCA offensive line gave up no sacks, while the Bears' defense held Quincy to 20 yards rushing and sacked Quincy quarterback Sam Donatucci five times. Donatucci completed 25 of 42 for 202 yards.

UCA opened the lead to 10-3 after a 21-yard field goal by Eddie Carmona, then Brown connected with Branson the first of their scores. UCA led 31-6 at the half.

Central Arkansas rushed for 206 yards, led by C.J. Chaten, who had 65 yards, and Spencer Hebert's 64.
