LARAMIE, Wyo. -- Tyler Sheehan passed for two touchdowns and ran for another in leading Bowling Green over Wyoming 45-16 Saturday.
Chris Bullock added two rushing touchdowns for Bowling Green, which won its first game over a Mountain West Conference team since 1989.
Bowling Green (2-2) led the game from the first quarter, when linebacker Cody Basler recovered a fumble in the end zone. Defensive lineman Michael Ream intercepted an attempted screen pass but fumbled just short of the goal line while being tackled by Wyoming running back Devon Moore.
Bullock scored on a pair of 6-yard runs.
Wyoming (2-3) continued to struggle offensively, especially in the passing game. The Cowboys used four quarterbacks and they were intercepted four times.
In its two other losses this season, UW committed 11 turnovers, including six interceptions.
The Wyoming offense has thrown more interceptions -- 10 -- than it has scored touchdowns this season -- six.
