KENT, Ohio -- Igor Iveljic kicked three field goals, including a 25-yarder in the second overtime, to give Akron a 30-27 victory over Kent State on Saturday.
Nate Reed of Kent State (1-5, 0-2 Mid-American Conference) converted a 32-yard field goal on the last play of regulation to tie the game at 24-24 and send it into the first overtime. Both he and Iveljic then kicked field goals in the first overtime.
After Iveljic's 25-yarder, Reed then missed wide right on a 23-yard attempt to end the game.
Jacquemain was intercepted three times and Kent State fumbled the ball away twice.
