MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Mason Webb tied a Morehead State record with four field goals as the Eagles defeated Davidson 26-13 on Saturday.
Webb hit field goals of 20, 31, 19 and 22 yards to tie the record set by Joey Herbst, who hit four fields against Davidson in 2002.
Morehead State's Evan Sawyer was 16 of 26 for 210 yards and two touchdowns.
The Eagles (3-2, 1-0 Pioneer Football League) opened a 23-7 advantage when Sawyer hit Brendan McLaughlin for a 30-yard touchdown on the final play of the first half.
Sawyer also connected with Drew Morgan for a 28-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
Alexander was 27 of 53 for 253 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions.
Morehead State finished with 376 yards of total offense (210 pass, 166 rushing).
