PRINCETON, N.J. -- Chris Pizzotti threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score as Harvard rallied for a 24-20 win over Princeton on Saturday.
Pizzotti completed 17 of 26 passes for 247 yards, including a 15-yard touchdown strike to Chris Lorditch. He also scored on a 33-yard run on Harvard's opening drive in the second half, while Patrick Long added a 25-yard field goal.
Pizzotti also kept the game-winning drive alive late in the fourth quarter when he hit Jason Miller for a 13-yard gain on a 4th-and-1. Three plays later, Gino Gordon put the Crimson (5-1, 2-1 Ivy League) ahead for good when he ran in from 6 yards out with 3:34 left to play.
Jordan Culbreath had touchdown runs of 1 and 10 yards in the first quarter for the Tigers (2-4, 1-2), and finished the day with 154 yards on 29 carries. Ben Bologna added field goals of 28 and 23 yards.
Princeton quarterback Brian Anderson completed 12 of 24 passes for 147 yards and an interception, while Will Thanheiser had eight receptions for 114 yards.
