JACKSONVILLE, Ala. -- Ryan Perrilloux accounted for three touchdowns and Daniel Jackson ran for 111 yards and a score to lead Jacksonville State to a 35-22 win over Austin Peay on Saturday.
The Gamecocks (6-3, 4-2 Ohio Valley Conference) jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter on Perrilloux's 14-yard touchdown and his 9-yard passing score to James Wilkinson, who finihsed with eight catches for 123 yards.
Perrilloux, who completed 19 of 29 passes for 271 yards and an interception, later connected with Eric Johns on a 4-yard touchdown to give Jacksonville State a 21-3 lead in the second. Perrilloux also rushed for 50 yards on 10 attempts.
Terrance Holt scored on a 61-yard run and Jeff Lyle followed with a 2-yard touchdown catch from Trent Caffee for in the second the Governors (1-8, 1-5) to cut the lead to 21-16, but never drew closer.
Lyle, who had four receptions for 53 yards, caught another 2-yard touchdown pass from Caffee in the third. Ryan White led Austin Peay with 116 yards rushing on 25 carries, while Caffee threw for 145 yards.
