BROOKINGS, S.D. -- Zach Zenner rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown as South Dakota State rolled to a 29-0 win over Indiana State on Saturday.
Zenner's touchdown gave South Dakota State (6-4, 3-3 Missouri Valley Conference) a 9-0 lead late in the first quarter, and the Jackrabbits added two second quarter field goals to take a 15-0 halftime lead.
Sumner had 207 yards passing, and surpassed the 7,000 yard passing mark for his career.
The Jackrabbits held Indiana State (1-9, 0-6) to just 161 yards of total offense, 56 passing. Indiana State starting quarterback Mike Perish was hurt early in the game and his replacement, Robert Tonyan Jr., completed just 5 of 20 passes.
