Will the Tide get rolled in 2015?

ESPN's Adam Rittenberg and Sharon Katz break down why the Football Power Index (FPI) is only giving Alabama a 5% chance to win the SEC. One simple answer: a brutal strength of schedule.

The depth chart at Auburn is out and the starting QB is...OK, we all knew Jeremy Johnson was going to start. But the biggest surprise might be that's there no "OR" at RB. Roc Thomas wins the job and will get the start Saturday against Louisville. If he can keep the job all year, don't be surprised if he's among the SEC's rushing leaders.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh says he has informed Jake Rudock and Shane Morris of his quarterback decision for the Friday opener. Oklahoma's depth chart featured a few surprises with WR Jarvis Baxter rising to a starting spot and three true freshmen on the two deep in the secondary. And RB Joe Mixon, despite not being listed at PR or KR, should play a key role as a returner. A lot of unproven talent in Norman.

ICYMI: Golson wins Florida State job

Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher names Everett Golson his starting quarterback for Texas State. On an offense without many proven commodities, Golson has the big-game experience and gives the Seminoles' offense a few more elements that will benefit a team in transition. Florida State had a player drafted this spring at every offensive position, so there will be a lot placed on Golson's and RB Dalvin Cook's shoulders.
