The Sooners never reached the 55-point mark in the previous 93 meetings prior to Stoops arrival. Oklahoma's offense is averaging 40.25 points per game and Texas defense is allowing 37.8 points per game heading into their Red River Showdown meeting on Saturday.

Over the last 20 years there have been six double-digit underdogs in the Red River Showdown. Four times those underdogs have covered. And twice, they have won outright, including two years ago when Texas defeated Oklahoma 36-20 as a 13-point underdog. The 1-4 Longhorns are 17-point underdogs heading into Saturday against the Sooners.
