Longhorns, Lady Vols to clash

AUSTIN, Texas -- When No. 1 Tennessee and No. 4 Texas agreed to move their game from mid-December to Thanksgiving night, coaches Pat Summitt and Jody Conradt took a deep breath. Both knew it would be an early-season meat-grinder that would test their lofty early-season rankings.

Yet both also saw a chance to put two of the best women's programs in the holiday spotlight of national TV. The game will be broadcast by ESPN2 (8 p.m. ET) on a night when few other games are competing for viewers.
