MINNEAPOLIS -- Whether it is honored as national champion or Final Four participant, the Minnesota women's basketball team will be at the Metrodome Wednesday for the ceremonial first pitch preceding the Twins' game against the Cleveland Indians.

Minnesota plays Connecticut in the national semifinals Sunday night in New Orleans. If the Golden Gophers win, they'll play in the championship game Tuesday night.

The Twins' home opener is Monday night.
