The Tigers trailed 41-0 when LaTeisha Barnett made a free throw
with 4:38 left in the half. The other points came on a layup by
Caroline Moore with 56 seconds to go to make it 49-3.
The Tigers missed their first 20 shots and trailed 54-3 at
halftime. The Seminoles won 107-28.
The previous one-half mark for fewest points was set by Liberty
on Jan. 27, 2001, when it trailed Radford 14-8 at halftime.
"I'd never been in that position before," Florida State coach
Sue Semrau said. "Honestly, we just tried to stay focused and do
what we needed to do at the defensive end of the floor."
