BOSTON -- Kelly Greenberg was hired as women's basketball coach at Boston University on Wednesday after five seasons at the University of Pennsylvania.
Greenberg led Penn to the NCAA tournament twice and had a record of 84-54. In her second season, Greenberg led Penn to a 14-0 record in the Ivy League and the program's first NCAA tournament bid. Penn also reached the tournament last season.
Greenberg, who succeeds Margaret McKeon at Boston University, also coached at Holy Cross, Rhode Island, George Washington and Northeastern.
Last season, BU finished 19-11 and reached the America East title game for the second straight season.
