Junior was leading Pac-10 in 3-pointers
EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon's junior guard Chelsea Wagner is out for the rest of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee, the university said Friday.
Wagner, who leads the Pac-10 in 3-pointers and has started in all 15 games this season, was injured in Thursday's win over Washington.
She had scored six 3-pointers in the game before the injury midway through the fourth quarter.
She was third in Ducks scoring with 8.8 points per game.
In July senior Kedzie Gunderson suffered a similar injury after a non-basketball incident and senior Catherine Kraayeveld did it in December of 2003 during practice.
Coach Bev Smith said Wagner should be back on the court in six months.
