Blue Devils loss lets LSU retake top spot

What a difference a day can make -- or in this case a night.

The Duke women are No. 4 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll after losing 56-51 to new No. 5 North Carolina (15-3) on Monday night.

The Blue Devils (18-2) remain No. 1 in the weekly AP poll, which came out before Monday's game.

LSU (18-1) rose from second to retake the top spot in the coaches' poll, garnering 38 of the 40 first-place votes and 996 points. The Lady Tigers have been first or second in this poll all season.

Stanford (17-2) is back to second in this week's poll, and Ohio State (19-2) climbs another spot to third.

Duke still got one first-place vote, and No. 17 Iowa State, which is 15-1, received the remaining one.
