Kubik suspended for one game
PROVO, Utah -- BYU women's basketball player Dani Kubik was suspended for one game for throwing a punch last week against Wyoming.
Kubik was ejected from Saturday's game after being called for a flagrant foul when she threw a punch with 13:29 left in the second half.
NCAA rules automatically disqualify Kubik from playing in the next regular season game, Thursday against Air Force.
Kubik, a 6-foot-3 sophomore center, is sixth in Cougar scoring with 8.4 points per game.
