Moss to miss two games
KNOXVILLE, TENN. -- Tennessee's Lindsey Moss has suffered a displaced nasal fracture that will require surgery, Jenny Moshak, Tennessee's assistant athletics director for sports medicine, announced Monday.
Moss, a freshman guard, suffered the injury in the first half of Sunday's rout when she collided with Alabama's Navonda Moore. Moss had hit all three of her treys and scored a career-high nine points in just six minutes of playing time before the injury.
Moss, who also suffered a non-displaced nasal fracture against Mississippi State on Jan. 15, will undergo surgery Friday.
"Lindsey will be in a non-contact mode and will miss Thursday's game at Mississippi and Sunday's game against Arkansas," Moshak said. "Following surgery, she will wear a nose splint."
Moss is averaging 2.1 points and logs 6.7 minutes per contest.
