KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee star Candace Parker was not
expected to play Thursday night against Mississippi State because
she was sick.
Parker, the No. 4 Lady Vols' leading scorer, did not play in the
first half and was replaced in the starting lineup by Alex Fuller.
Parker was absent from team introductions before the game but
joined her teammates on the bench when the game started.
She was averaging 19.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
