Freshman guard out due to knee injury
Penn State freshman guard Meggan Quinn will miss the rest of the season after tearing the ACL and MCL in her right knee at practice Thursday.
"This is an unfortunate injury and we feel really bad for Meggan," head coach Rene Portland said in a statement. "Knowing Meggan's work ethic, she will fully recover from this injury and return to the court next season. She has a long and successful career ahead of her at Penn State."
The Lady Lions (12-12, 5-6 Big Ten) take on Northwestern on Sunday.
