Booze's season ends with torn ACL
BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU junior guard Taylor Booze will miss the rest of the season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee during the Lady Tigers' win over New Orleans.
Coach Van Chancellor said Tuesday that Dr. Brent Bankston, the team's physician, will perform the surgery to repair the injury sometime after the Christmas break.
Booze, a native of Carrollton, Texas, was injured late in the second half against New Orleans. She averaged 2.4 points and 12 minutes over five games. Booze came to LSU after playing her sophomore season at Trinity Valley (Texas) Community College and her freshman season at Oklahoma State.
